REVIEW: If you''ve heard 40 Below Summer before, this is still the same band you''ve heard before, only everything''s gotten better. The guitars sound even more huge, the sing-along choruses are catchier than ever, the screaming parts are more scathing, this is 40 Below Summer taken to the next level. There are many similarities to the past album The Mourning After, but it is still definitely worth a listen.

For the uninitiated , 40 Below Summer play very heavy nu-metal in the vein of Ill Niño, Mushroomhead, etc. Some songs are all screams except for the chorus, which is a clean singalong piece. Others are all clean vocals which really showcases the amazingly diverse voice of vocalist Max Illedge. It''s honestly pretty hard to describe 40 Below Summer except heavy and powerful. If you''re into the types of bands I named earlier, then definitely give this a listen.
