REVIEW: This was my first taste of this band and I must say I was impressed. Musically it''s like a merging of.. hmm.. perhaps the song structuring of Rammstein and Tiamat with a dash of H.I.M., and the orchestration of Dimmu Borgir. Vocally, they range from the screeching highs of Dani Filth to the lows of Danzig or Til from Rammstein. A very diverse album... some tracks lean more towards metal, others goth, still other simply rock, but every single track is catchy as fucking hell.
This whole album, just sounds huge. "Tongues" starts the album off strong with a wall of synthesizers and keyboards built on a foundation of heavy guitar riffs. The track is mid-tempo and very catchy. "Blitzkrieg" picks up the pace and brings a heavier dose of metal guitars. "Motherzone" reminds me musically a bit of H.I.M. and "Cyanide" starts off with an orgasm of synth and really sets the tone for the rest of the album. The whole album is amazing, not a bad track.
