REVIEW: I haven't listened to Sepultura for awhile, so I decided to check out what they're up to. In short, the album is solid, yet feeling very uninspired, overall. Most of the tracks sound the same, however there are some strong tracks, especially on the latter half of the album. Most notably, "Ostia" for it's amazingly beautiful violin (?) solo towards the end of the song. Other standouts are "Nuclear Seven", "Crown and Miter" and I have to say that the epic instrumental track, "Still Flame" is very raw, spiritual and powerful. The first half of the album is more of the same from Sepultura. Solid but unrevolutionary. The second half feels more inspired and has some promise and originality. A full album with material like the latter half of the album and it would be gold.
