REVIEW: Sworn Enemy's last album, As Real As it Gets was good, standard Hatebreed-esque hardcore, but with this album, they take it up a notch by adding a bit more metal riffing into the mix. The hardcore vocals have improved immensely--becoming a bit rougher, yet easier to stomach. Sworn Enemy vocalist Sal Lococo is sounding very much like Slayer's Tom Araya; this is especially apparent in "Forgotten", a track which just reeks of Slayer.

Still very much apparent here, but perhaps even taking a larger space in the music are the anthemic, chant-along choruses. "No Second Chances", "Save Your Breath", "Here Today"... In truth they're all great "fuck-shit-up" songs.
