STANDOUT TRACKS: "God Made Hate "

REVIEW: This album is straight forward vintage rock 'n' roll. It brings to mind images perhaps what it would sound like if The Rolling Stones and The Ramones had a bastard love child raised on AC/DC. Of course, that's not to say that this band is gonna be legendary, overall they are simply a regurgitation of their influences, but they seems to be heading towards a sound of their own, especially on tracks like "God Made Hate". At times the guitars seems a little too simple and heard-it-before, however this band seems like it has some serious potential. In a world slowly being taken over by vintage rock bands like Jet, The Darkness and the like, The Living Things will need to pull out a few more stops just to get noticed, let alone lead the pack, because they are very cliche and trite at times, though they seem to really have the spirit to do this all out. If all this sounds good to you, I'd say pick it up if you can get it cheap.
