REVIEW: Life is Killing Me is the latest release from Brooklyn New York's Type O Negative, and I certainly believe it to be one of their finest. In normal TON fashion, some of the songs are a little over a minute long, while others are over 5 and 7 minutes long. Keeping it fresh is the use of new effects and samples in the songs that comprise this 75 minute body of music.
I've found not one bad song on this album, from the intro track, "Thir13Teen", to the 7 1/2 minute opus "How Could She", to the italian inspired instrumental "Drunk in Paris", to the closing track "The Dream is Dead", this is a solid album. There are alot of straight-forward rock songs on this album, as well as a few slower tracks, which keep it sounding fresh and not monotonous.
